What is Delagen AI Agent Extension?

It is a free Chrome (MV3) extension that lets AI agents on your Delagen AI account perform browser tasks you start in Ask. Agents act only inside a dedicated tab group in your own browser — useful when the work lives on a website with no API.

Browser agents are enabled per workspace. If you do not see Settings → Browsers, book a consultation and we will set up a pilot, or ask your Delagen workspace admin.

How do I pair the extension?

In the Delagen dashboard open Settings → Browsers → Connect this browser. Click the Delagen AI Agent Extension toolbar icon (not the Chrome side panel), paste the pairing code, and press Pair. When paired, the popup shows your workspace name.

Why does Chrome say “Delagen AI Agent Extension started debugging this browser”?

The extension uses Chrome’s debugger API for accessibility snapshots and trusted input on sites where DOM-only automation is not enough. It attaches only to tabs in an active Delagen session and detaches when the session ends.

Why does it need access to all websites?

Tasks can involve any site you work with. The extension only interacts with a page while executing a task you started in Ask, and only inside the Delagen tab group for that session.

What data does it store and send?

A device pairing token is stored in the browser. During a task, page content and actions needed for the job are sent to the Delagen API in AWS eu-west-2 (London). Browser command logs are retained for about 30 days. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. Full detail: Privacy Policy → Delagen AI Agent Extension (browser extension).

Will it submit forms without me?

No. Submit-like actions pause for Confirm in Ask. Captchas and human challenges show a “Browser needs you” card — solve them in the session tab, then continue.

How do I stop, unpair, revoke, or uninstall?

Stop session in the popup or overlay ends the server session. Unpair in the popup revokes the device token. You can also revoke a device under Settings → Browsers. Uninstall the extension from chrome://extensions to remove it from the browser.

Ask says “waiting for extension”. What should I do?

Open the Delagen AI Agent Extension toolbar popup so the service worker reconnects, or start the session again. The chip means a session exists in Delagen but the extension has not sent a recent heartbeat.

I see “The extension did not run the command”.

The command expired before the extension ran it (often while offline). Reconnect the popup, confirm the connection status shows Connected, then retry the step in Ask.

Does it run when my browser is closed?

No. The extension only runs while Chrome (or Edge/Brave) is open and a session is active. Closing the browser ends the session path for that device.

What is Delagen AI Agent Worktrees?

It is an editor extension that manages git worktrees under .worktrees/ so each AI agent chat or feature branch can have its own isolated checkout. Create, open, remove, and re-run post-create setup from the command palette or activity bar.

Does Delagen AI Agent Worktrees send data anywhere?

No. The extension does not make network calls and does not collect telemetry. It only runs local git and optional setup scripts you configure.

“No git repositories in this workspace.”

Open a folder that is a git repository (or a multi-root workspace that includes one), then run AI Agent Worktrees: Create again.

“Failed to create worktree…”

Check that the branch name is free, the .worktrees directory is writable, and git is on PATH. The message includes the underlying git error.

“Worktree created, but setup failed…”

The worktree exists; post-create setup exited with an error. Fix the script or .cursor/worktrees.json, then run AI Agent Worktrees: Run Post-Create Setup.

Remove fails because of uncommitted changes.

Commit or stash changes in that worktree, or confirm force-remove when the extension asks. Force remove is destructive — only use it if you intend to discard those changes.

I still see delagen-ai.agent-worktrees 0.1.x.

That is a legacy Open VSX id. Uninstall it and install delagen-ai.delagen-agent-worktrees (0.2.0 or later).

Delagen AI Agent Extension is the official Chromium companion for Delagen AI — the platform for hiring and running AI agents at work. Pair your browser to a Delagen workspace, then let agents browse, click, type, and navigate inside a dedicated tab group you start from dashboard Ask. It is built for real browser work on recruiting portals, CRMs without a usable API, admin consoles, and other authenticated sites. Requires a Delagen workspace with browser agents enabled. Supported browsers: Chrome, Edge, and Brave. Firefox and Safari are not supported.

Install from the Chrome Web Store, then pair under Settings → Browsers in your Delagen workspace.
Pair once per browser: Settings → Browsers → Connect this browser → open the toolbar popup → paste the pairing code.
Start a browser session from Ask. The agent may only act on tabs in the Delagen session group.

Delagen AI Agent Worktrees for VS Code and Cursor

Delagen AI Agent Worktrees is a free, MIT-licensed editor extension from Delagen AI that creates, lists, opens, and removes git worktrees under .worktrees/<slug>, with optional post-create setup. Use it to isolate Cursor and VS Code AI coding agents (and human teammates) in parallel checkouts so they do not share one dirty working tree. It does not require a Delagen account. Extension id: delagen-ai.delagen-agent-worktrees. Requires VS Code 1.85+ or Cursor, and git on your PATH.

Install from Open VSX (Cursor) or the Visual Studio Marketplace — search delagen-ai.delagen-agent-worktrees or “Delagen AI Agent Worktrees”.
Commands: Create, List, Open, Remove, Run Post-Create Setup, Refresh — also from the AI Agent Worktrees activity-bar view.
Settings: agentWorktrees.directory (default .worktrees), branchPrefix (default feat/), postCreateScript, openInNewWindow.
If postCreateScript is empty, the extension reads .cursor/worktrees.json (setup-worktree-unix / setup-worktree-windows / setup-worktree) and sets ROOT_WORKTREE_PATH for the script.

Delagen AI for HubSpot

The Delagen AI HubSpot app lets Delagen agents read contacts and deals in the HubSpot account you authorize. After you install the app in HubSpot, connect it from the Delagen dashboard — you do not paste a HubSpot client ID or secret. The app requests read access to contacts and deals. Write actions (create or update records) are not part of this listing yet.

Workspace admins connect HubSpot from an agent’s Ask chat: open setup, choose CRM, select HubSpot, then Connect.
HubSpot shows Delagen’s consent screen. A private-app token remains an optional Advanced fallback.
After connect, that agent can search contacts and list deals in Ask. If HubSpot credentials rotate, reconnect from the same setup flow.
